Sorenson VRI Interpreter

Sorenson Video Remote Interpreting (VRI)™ is currently hiring interpreters for video remote interpreting assignments. Sorenson's remote interpreters provide industry leading Sign-to-Voice and Voice-to-Sign interpreting for nationwide meetings with Sorenson VRI.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to effectively communicate in sign language
  • 5-10 years working experience as a certified sign language interpreter in a variety of settings
  • NAD Level IV/V; RID: CI, CT, CI/CT CSC; NIC certification; state interpreter certificate at the Intermediate or Master Certificate skill levels, or professional interpreting experience Excellent voicing skills and a good understanding of deaf culture
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience with video interpreting preferred
Compensation: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Location Requirements:
  • Applicants must live at least four hours from the nearest Sorenson VRS call center.
  • Verification that your location is able to receive Internet service with a speed of at least 768 KBPS with static IP address
