VP-200 Application
Thank you for your interest in a free Sorenson VP-200 videophone, which can be used to make free VRS calls using Sorenson VRS. Please review the eligibility requirements before filling out an application. To receive a free VP-200 you must:
- Be deaf or hard-of-hearing
- Use American Sign Language (ASL) to communicate
- Have a high-speed Internet connection already at the location you wish to have a VP-200 installed.
A minimum connection speed of 256 Kbps is recommended. Review the information on Internet Service Providers if you do not already have a high-speed Internet connection.
An online test is determining if your Internet connection is compatible with a VP-200. Once the test has completed click the APPLY NOW button to start the application process.
Do you already have a number that you want to move to Sorenson VRS?
If you already have a local number but do not have a Sorenson videophone, please fill out an application by clicking the "APPLY NOW" button above to apply for a videophone. You'll also need to fill out a form to port your number to Sorenson. You can link to this form from the application page, or click here to complete this form now.
If you already have a Sorenson VP-200 and you'd like to port a phone number you have to that device, please click here and follow the directions you'll find to bring your number to Sorenson you do not need to complete an application for a videophone.
Internet Service Providers
In order for the VP-200 to transmit high quality video you must have a high-speed or broadband Internet connection. A variety of Internet Service Providers, also known as ISPs, offer broadband service plans with speeds at 256 Kbps or more, which will work with a VP-200. License Agreement
Please read the Service and Product Agreement before applying for a VP-200 videophone. You can always review the online agreement at anytime.

Check VP Application Status
If you have completely filled out an application for a videophone and you have not received an update within a few weeks, then submit a request to check on the status of your application.
